Love fast cars, sleek motorcycles and cheap tacos? Sir Vezas’s Taco Garage, 4699 E. Speedway Blvd, may be just what you’re looking for.

From the same family that has owned and operated El Charro Café since its opening in 1922, Sir Veza’s Taco Garage is the newest addition to the family business.

The entire restaurant is custom designed to resemble a hot rod motorcycle shop. Decorated with car parts, racing flames, and over a dozen hanging flat screen televisions, the street theme of the restaurant is a real-life version of any automotive enthusiast’s greatest fantasy.

In addition to the need-for-speed décor, Sir Veza’s is dedicated to serving great tasting food, all at a $10 and under.

Located at what used to be an El Charro Café location, Sir Veza’s is new to the scene. The taco bar opened its doors to the public just four months ago.

“We wanted to open something fun and inexpensive,” said Candace Flores, daughter of Carlotta Flores, owner of the El Charro Café restaurants.

The restaurant’s large floor plan includes two dining floors and two bars - one of which doubles as an inside/outside bar, linking the main dining floor to the outside patio.

Although the taco bar is a new endeavor for the Flores family, the decision about whether to franchise or remain family-owned continues to be unknown. As for now, just the one location exists.
