Spanish Wine near the U.S.-Mexico Border

For travelers and residents near the U.S.-Mexico border, cocktail hour can often consist of tequila shots, margaritas or if you’re a real party animal, a piña colada! While some people can rage with José Cuervo on a regular basis, others might opt to relax with a glass of wine or vino tinto as it is referred in Spain.
Aside from the fact that we’re neighboring Mexico, the wine regions of Spain offer a great selection of red and white wine varietals that are a great change of pace from the international cabernet sauvignon or chardonnay.
