BorderLinks aims to expand public knowledge on border conflict, issues

Posted by Carrie E. Sherman on February 12, 2008

Based in Tucson, BorderLinks is a bi-national, non-profit organization that expands knowledge about border conflict, globalization, immigration and other socially relevant topics that affect U.S. citizens daily. The group organizes experiential seminars along border towns to focus on the setting of conflict and life on the border itself. BorderLinks elaborates on current issues and helps participants immerse themselves in the culture, in hopes that they will have a raised awareness and be inspired to take action regarding global political economics.
